Changelog

What shipped.

Only changes practitioners, clients or referrers will notice. Internal refactors and hardening are not listed unless they change how something works for you. Last updated 2 September 2026.

September 2026

  • Template version history. Note templates keep every saved version, so an edit can be compared and restored from Settings.
  • Text replacements in drafts. Your text replacements now apply to generated drafts as well as to what you type.
  • One snippet library. The same snippets and shortcuts work in both the note editor and the document editor.
  • Recording shortcuts. Start and stop a session recording from the keyboard, listed in the shortcuts panel.
  • AHPRA registration checked at onboarding. For AHPRA-regulated professions the registration number given at onboarding is checked against the register rather than simply stored.

August 2026

  • Task reminders that fire. Reminders are set as an offset from the due date, tasks can carry a due time, and one bulk toolbar replaces the table view.
  • Sticky notes. A sticky-notes deck on the edge of the screen replaces the daily notepad, with a keyboard shortcut to capture a thought mid-task.
  • Note completion checks. Before signing, the note editor lists what is still missing, including items from your own practice checklist.
  • See what the assistant did. Each assistant reply has a View AI details panel showing which tools ran and what it proposed.
  • Consents, self-service. Every consent type can be reviewed, given or withdrawn from the client portal consents page.
  • One assistant. Praxi is the one assistant you talk to; separate specialist names no longer appear.
  • Client portal, reorganised. Three places instead of many tabs: My Plan, Library and Check-in, on the web, with the native iOS app still in development.
  • Guided audio. Sessions play directly in the client portal, web and iOS.
  • Learning content in the inbox. Psychoeducation modules arrive alongside worksheets instead of a separate Learning area.
  • WorkCover and TAC claims. Compensable claims now cover TAC as well as WorkCover, each with its own scheme rules and fees.
  • Report-ready notifications. Court and WorkCover reports notify the practitioner when ready.
  • Programme templates in one place. Care templates live together in Settings, can be forked and edited, and clients see which programme a task came from.
  • New assessments. Added coverage for child and bereavement presentations.
  • Guided onboarding for every role. Role-specific onboarding, with guided introductions in the client, referrer and stakeholder portals.
  • Client multi-factor sign-in. Clients at MFA-required practices get a guided enrolment path instead of a dead end.
  • Crisis support. One verified contact list across the web portal and iOS app; the app only offers numbers that accept calls.
  • Portal billing accuracy. A paid invoice no longer shows as overdue.
  • Bookings reach the intake queue. Widget bookings always arrive in intake, with one consistent bookability rule.
  • Legal pages generated from source. praxi.au legal pages generate directly from the counsel-approved documents, so page and signed document cannot drift.
  • Questionnaire progress. Started-but-unfinished questionnaires show as in progress.
  • Portal command palette. Clients search records, open guided actions and find help from one search bar.
  • PDF data export. Privacy Act access-request exports download as PDF as well as the existing formats.
  • Portal chat improvements. Message previews, unread counts and staff names in the client message list.
  • Booking accessibility. Better contrast, clearer cancellation and proper screen-reader landmarks in the public booking flow.
  • Support chat placement. On praxi.au, support chat opens from the navigation rather than a floating button.
  • iOS portal polish. Refreshed welcome screen, slimmer crisis banner, floating toolbar in thumb reach.

July 2026

  • Recording that survives a refresh. A refresh, a dropped connection or a sleeping laptop no longer loses the session recording; it resumes where it stopped.
  • Faster, checkable note drafts. Sections draft in parallel with visible progress, and you can play the audio behind any cited sentence before you sign.
  • Privacy mode. One shortcut hides client identifiers on screen, and it switches on by itself after a period of inactivity.
  • Practice board. A live board of who has arrived, who is waiting and which room is in use, with a shared-screen mode for reception.
  • Safe contact. Restrict which channels can reach a client; staff set it with a recorded clinical rationale, and clients can set it themselves in the portal.
  • Cancel a booking without an account. Clients look up and cancel a booking from the link in their confirmation email, and the public booking widget resumes after a refresh.

June 2026

  • Telehealth join links. Clients join a session from a secure link and a one-time code with no portal sign-up, and the mobile call runs full-screen with in-call controls.
  • Booking deposits. Online bookings can require a deposit, paid through a secure payment link, with a reminder and automatic cancellation if it goes unpaid.
  • Refunds and disputes inside Praxi. Refunds, chargebacks and payout reconciliation are handled from the billing pages rather than a separate Stripe dashboard.
  • My details in the portal. Clients update their own personal, contact, address, emergency, Medicare and GP details, with re-verification where it matters.
  • Enquiries to clients in one step. Enquiries arrive from your practice page or are logged in-app, convert to a client in one step, and the default intake form pack sends itself.
  • Search and quick create. Global search now finds payments, staff, client tools, assessments and files, and a + New menu creates a client or task from anywhere.

May 2026

  • Waiting room. One feed for in-person and telehealth arrivals, with a session-prep panel, check-in and a long-wait alert.
  • Drag to reschedule. Appointments, meetings, tasks and blocked time move by dragging, and all-day events sit in a pinned row.
  • Client record tabs. Appointments, profile and compliance tabs on the client record, with an anchor rail for the long profile.
  • AI scribe in the note editor. Draft, refine and regenerate sections from a side drawer; every draft waits for your review and signature.
  • One daily briefing. A single morning briefing replaces the stream of individual notification emails.
  • Client account deletion. Clients can request deletion of their own portal account, with a 30-day grace period to change their mind.

April 2026

  • Care pathways. Multi-week programmes with steps a practitioner completes, skips or unlocks from the Pathways tab.
  • iOS practitioner app sync. Care pathways, attachments, authentication and push notifications mirrored with the web app.
  • Referrer portal. GPs and partners get their own portal: dashboard, client list, shared documents and messages.

March 2026

  • AI evidence retrieval. The clinical-intelligence agent searches PubMed on request and returns a cited summary; drafts are always clinician-reviewed.
  • First-run experience. The walkthrough tour is deferred until needed, the trial banner shows remaining days, and the dashboard suggests next steps.
